AIRA (formerly Readable AI) is a ChatGPT-based assistant designed to make reading accessible and enjoyable for folks who need to read (e.g. for school or work), but struggle to do it. Many folks prefer to listen to text as a result. AIRA breaks down complex or lengthy text into manageable chunks first. Then, you can have those bits read aloud (I’m using the π feature to make this possible). Beyond that, AIRA offers summaries, concept processing support, and gentle quizzes to test your comprehension.
